Day #1 – Sofia
Arrival at Sofia airport. Transfer to the hotel. Panoramic city tour of Sofia - visits to the Ruins of Serdica, the St. George Rotunda (4th century), the St. Sofia Church (6th century), the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (1912), the Ivan Vazov National Theatre, the St.Clement of Ohrid University of Sofia and many more places of interest. A welcome dinner. Overnight.
Day #2 - Sofia - Veliko Tarnovo
After breakfast transfer to Veliko Tarnovo,known as the capital of the Second Bulgarian Empire (12th - 14th century). Veliko Tarnovo is one of the oldest settlements in Bulgaria, having a history of more than 5 millennia. The first traces of human presence dating from the 3th millennium BC are found on the Trapezitsa hill.Lunch at local restaurant in Veliko Tarnovo. Near Veliko Tarnovo is located the village of Arbanassi, known for its rich history and large number of historical monuments such as 17th and 18th century churches. There you will visit the Monastery of Saint Nicholas and the Monastery of the Dormition of the Mother of God. Dinner at your hotel and overnight in Veliko Tarnovo
Day #3 – Veliko Tarnovo –Kazanlak - Plovdiv
In the morning you will take a sightseeing tour of Veliko Tarnovo – you will see the Tzarevets hill, the Fortress, the Patriarchal Church, the small churches in the foothill of Trapezitsa and the Samovodska Charshiya street in the old Town.
You will continue to Kazanlak. Lunch at Local restaurant in Kazanlak
Kazanlak is a town located in the world-famous Bulgarian Rose Valley. You will visit the Thracian tomb-a masterpiece of the Thracian architecture and painting. it dates back to the 4th century BC and has been on the UNESCO protected World Heritage Site list since 1979.
Departure to Plovdiv – Second largest city in Bulgaria. Dinner at your hotel and overnight in Plovdiv
Day #4 - Plovdiv - Rila monastery - Razlog
Following breakfast you will take a guided sightseeing tour of the city - you will visit the Saint Constantine and Helena church, The Roman amphitheatre, Tsar Simeon's garden and the Singing Fountains. Dinner and overnight in Plovdiv. Lunch at local restaurant
Next step of your trip is Rila monastery - , founded in the 10th century. It is the largest and most famous Eastern Orthodox monastery in Bulgaria. The monastery complex houses a rich collection of icons, wallpaintings, old-printed books – some 15 000 volumes, etc. The monastery became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. You will take a guided tour of the monastery complex. You will see the gold-plated iconostasis in the main church, the monastery museum, famous for housing Rafail’s Cross, the tower of Hrelyu and the residential part of the complex that consists of chambers, four chapels, an abbot's room and a kitchen (noted for its uncommonly large vessels).

Day #5 – Razlog - Thessaloniki - Paralia Katerini
Breakfast. Departure to Greece. Thessaloniki city tour with our professional English-speaking guide (visit white tower, Roman Agora, Old byzantine walls, Acropolis – Kastra, St. Demetrius church and Rotonda church.
Traditional Greek lunch in a very nice Greek restaurant in the heart of the city very close to the open market “KAPANI” where we will have the possibility to walk. After lunch we start our trip back to the region of Olympus Riviera – under the shadow of Olymp legendary mountain.
Continue to Paralia Katerini. Dinner at your hotel
Day #6 – Paralia Katerini - Kalambaka - Delfi
After breakfast we will visit Litohoro the village at the bottom of Olymp Mountain – time for coffee and photo with the magnificent view.
Visit Platamon Old Byzantine castle and we move forward to Kalambaka Meteora where we will visit the two most important monasteries Megalo Meteoro and Varlaam.
Lunch in Kalambaka and move forward to Delfi where we will accommodated.
Free time at leisure
Dinner at your hotel.
Day #7 - Delfi - Athens
After breakfast we visit the archaeological place and the museum in Delfi and we move to Athens.
Lunch on the way to Athens.
Free time at leisure in the afternoon.

Day #8 - Athens - Peloponnese
After breakfast we start the full day tour to Corinth – Mycene – Epidavros in Peloponese. Lunch in Mycene and early evening return at the hotel for Dinner.
Free time to walk in the very interesting market of Glyfada area
